Allowing Web browser control of up to 8 ac power outlets for reboot and remote power control of multiple devices, the iBootBar power distribution unit (PDU) can protect and maintain devices in areas that are hard to access. Available in a 15 or 20-A US version or a 10 or 20-A international model, the device has a serial port or optional internal modem for out-of-band access when the network is unavailable.
The PDU supports both data and voice calls, allowing secure remote power control from any telephone and also supports Telnet, SNMP, SMTP and SSL security. Using an AutoPing feature that monitors multiple IP addresses, the device can monitor networked equipment and will automatically reboot the equipment in the case of a system freeze.
