200-V audio PA enables slimmer, elegant designs
Device eliminates 25-discrete components and provides highest power per sq-in of chassis space
Integrating a Baker clamp, the 200-V LME49810 audio power amplifier eliminates more than 25-discrete components while enabling slimmer, more elegant designs, with more channels and more power per sq-in of chassis space. When implemented in a complete power amplifier design, the THD+N is as low as 0.0007%.
The device provides a slew rate of 50 V/µs, a PSRR of 110 dB, and a wide operating voltage range of ±20 to ±100 V. To prevent long-term thermal stress, the LME49810 has a thermal protection scheme that is activated when the die temperature exceeds 150C. Housed in a 15-lead TO-247 package, the device also features no-click, no-pop mute circuitry.
