Useful for supplying wide-spectrum signals for testing or calibrating filters and RF-systems, Noise Com NC1127A and NC1128A noise modules can also serve as a random jitter source for testing high-speed-serial-data buses. The modules provide a white Gaussian frequency distribution that permits quick measurement of complete frequency response.
The 5-GHz NC1127A outputs 20 dBm at 117 dBm/Hz, while the 10-GHz NC1128A outputs 17 dBm at 117 dBm/Hz. Both modules provide high output power and ±2.5-dB flatness between −35 to 100ºC.
