ATMEL:8-bit MCUs feature very low power

Source: | Publishing Date:2007-07-31

The ATmega48P, ATmega88P, ATmega168P, and ATmega328P 8-bit microcontrollers have 4, 8, 16, and 32 Kbytes of flash memory, respectively, and consume as little as 340 µA in active mode at 1.8 V and running from the internal oscillator at 1 MHz. In power-save mode with a real-time counter running, they need just 650 nA, and only 100 nA in power-down mode.

The MCUs operate from 1.8 to 5.5 V and feature a 10-bit A/D converter, a USART, SPI, and two-wire interfaces, an internal temperature sensor, and have up to 20-MIPS throughput at 20 MHz. They also have up to 1 Kbyte of EEPROM and come in TQFP32 and MLF28/32 packages.
