The Tsi384TM four-lane PCI Express to PCI-X bridge IC features a throughput of up to 1 Gbit/s. The device is said to offer improved buffering and queuing architecture for reduced latency.

The chip supports 1, 2, or 4 lanes, has typical power consumption of 1.3 W, and incorporates power management functions. It comes in a 17 x 17-mm BGA package rated for industrial temperature operation, supports a payload of up to 512 bytes, and offers the flexibility of three types of addressing modes: transparent, opaque, and nontransparent.
