The RE25U300J portable external hard-disk drive features the highest available capacity (300 Gbytes) for such a device, combined with a compact design and an integrated USB 2.0 cable. The drive is USB-bus-powered and comes with the Cryptainer encryption program that helps guarantee privacy, with the AES 256 or Blowfish 448 bit encryption.

The 2.5-in. 4,200-rpm drive also includes Apricorn EZ Gig II software, which enables a complete image backup with password protection. A second portable drive (RE25U120Z) with 120-Gbyte capacity and 5,400-rpm rotation is also available.
