Not only can the low-power device save energy in domestic and commercial lighting applications that have conventionally used incandescent bulbs, but it also suits space-limited designs that require high-brightness LCD backlighting.

With its low-thermal-resistance package, the InGaN/phosphor LED delivers a typical performance of 35 lm/W and a wide −40¡ã to 100¡ãC operating temperature range. The device can be used in automated Pb-free production lines with reflow-soldering temperatures up to 260¡ãC.
