The AD8253 digitally programmable instrumentation amplifier is able to reach gains of 1,000. Operating from ¡À5 to ¡À15 V, it achieves 10-MHz bandwidth and 0.5-µs settling time to 0.01%.

Additional features include an input offset drift of 1.2 µV/¡ãC and gain drift of 10 ppm/¡ãC. Manufactured using iCMOS process technology, the AD8253 draws just 4 mA of quiescent current and is available in 10-lead MSOP packages.
