Targeting low-power wireless applications in alarm and security, automatic meter reading, industrial monitoring and control, and home and building automation, the CC1101 sub-1-GHz RF transceiver is designed for the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) and Short Range Device (SRD) frequency bands at 315, 433, 868, and 915 MHz. However, the device can also be easily programmed for operation at other frequencies in the 300 to 348-MHz, 387 to 464-MHz, and 779 to 928-MHz bands.

The main operating parameters and the 64-byte transmit/receive FIFOs can be controlled via an SPI interface. Housing is in QLP-20 packages.
