Housed in a single-bay cabinet, the I-9500LXI automated test system can check under-1,000-W ac-dc and dc/dc power converters used for cell phones, digital music and video players, and computer accessories. Its LXI controller also supports RS-232-C, GPIB, Micro1000, and CAN buses.

The basic system comes with 6-digit DMM, 4-channel digital scope, 850-VA ac source, one 300-W and four 75-W loads, 18 x 4 differential multiplexer, 16 digital inputs and 16 outputs, 48 relay drivers, 10 5-A power relays, 5 open slots, and PowerStar 5 software. The architecture can also support 1,250-VA ac or 1,500-W dc power sources.
