The HT46R48Ais new product release addition to the Holtek range of Cost Effective A/D of microcontrollers. The device specification includes a 9-bit A/D converter, 2K of OTP Program Memory, 88 bytes of Data Memory and 6-level stack etc. As for packaging, the device is supplied in 24-pin SKDIP/SOP/SSOP and 20-pin SKDIP/SOP package forms. These features combine to present a device, which is suitable for use in a wide range of household appliances, automotive peripheral products and other products, which require intelligent control, giving users a microcontroller solution with excellent price/performance characteristics.

The HT46R48Autilises a Holtek 8-bit RISC kernel as well as additional peripheral circuits such as a 4-channel 9-bit A/D converter, which can accept signals from the external environment such as those of temperature and humidity etc. Additionally there is also a single PWM output and 19 I/O pins, which can be used for motor control and to interface to various kinds of external switches. The Programmable Frequency Divider, PFD, function exists to generate frequencies such as audio frequencies etc. These features add up to provide users with a comprehensive solution for the easy implementation of controller applications.

Fully supported by the HT-IDE3000 development system, this suite of hardware and software tools encompasses features such as real time emulation, full memory and register access, hardware breakpoints with logical setups, full trace facilities etc. Product designers running to strict time restraints for their program development and debug will find to hand an excellent set of tools to assist with rapid and efficient product development.
