The LTC6406 A/D converter provides a rail-to-rail input stage and an independently adjustable output common-mode range. Features include a gain-bandwidth of 3 GHz, a unity-gain −3-dB bandwidth of 800 MHz, a noise figure of 1.6 nV/¡ÌHz, and a current consumption of 18 mAwhich can be reduced to 300 µA during inactivity mode.

In addition, the part achieves −90-dBc distortion performance for input frequencies from dc to 20 MHz, and nearby −70-dBc distortion performance from dc to 50 MHz. Housed in a 16-lead QFN package, the part operates on supplies from 2.7 to 3.5 V and over both commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
