The ATCA-7301 AdvancedTCA processor blade features the Intel Core 2 Duo CPU running at 2.16 GHz, with up to 16 Gbytes of DDR2 memory, two AMC sites, and 10-Gbit/s Ethernet interfaces. The board is designed for NEBS and ETSI compliance, and targets network deployments, including wireless broadband (3G LTE and WiMAX), IP Multimedia Subsystem, and IPTV.

The card¡¯s two hot-swappable AdvancedMC sites provide the flexibility for additional processing accelerators, mass storage, clocking, security processing, or I/O. Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Wind River Platform for Network Equipment (Linux Edition, PNE-LE) operating systems is standard.
