The MAX7359 two-wire interfaced, low-EMI key-switch controller detects multiple key press and release events on up to 64 keys¡ªby generating and storing individual key codes in a FIFO register for each press and release to allow the monitoring of multiple key-switch events.

The part provides up to seven open-drain logic outputs that can be configured to drive LEDs. Available in a 24-pin TQFN package, the device operates over the -40¡ã to 85¡ãC temperature range.
