Has high resolution and sensitivity to let medical, quality assurance, and security personnel make rapid decisions
The FPXD flat-panel x-ray detector uses thin-film transistor technology to capture radiographs without film and the subsequent need for development. Further, the detector’s 9.4-Mpixel (3,072 x 3,072) resolution provides more precise, ultra-high-definition images, quickly providing more information so that critical decisions can be made in less time.

To provide what is said to be the highest radiographic sensitivity in the industry, the unit’s 450 x 460-mm detecting area consists of photodiodes attached to an amorphous silicon TFT substrate. Impinging x rays are converted by scintillation into visible light, which is sensed by the photodiodes and digitized using an image enhancement function that eliminates most digital image noise interference.
Complete detectors are available in versions measuring 512 x 535 x 48 mm or 571 x 653 x 25 mm.
