The Channel Adapter Plus 16/130 dual-channel receiver card has two 16-bit 130-Msample/s A/D converters, featuring 77-dB SNR and 95-dB SFDR, and a high-performance FPGA. Available in PMC, PCI, or CPCI form factors, the card has a high-speed front-end that is tightly coupled to a Xilinx Virtex-4 FPGA, which communicates with the host processor through a dedicated PCI bridge.

Interfaces to the I/O, SRAM, and local bus are easily integrated with user FPGA logic. The card has a PCI bus master with scatter-gather DMA and 32 Mbytes of QDR SRAM in four banks. The board¡¯s sample clock is supplied by an external source or an on-board frequency synthesizer that can be phase locked to a local 10-MHz TCXO or an external reference to achieve system-wide phase coherence.
