The SH-MobileL3V2 (SH7362) application processor offers a large number of video formats, high-resolution video capture, and enhanced functionality to control image quality. The SH-MobileUL (SH7363) version features a small 8 x 8-mm package and provides excellent cost/performance targeting mainstream mobile phones.

Both versions yield 478 MIPS at 266 MHz and have a vector processor for video processing supporting H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and the VC-1 moving-image compression standard. They include an LCD controller and either 256 or 128 Mbits of SDRAM. The SH-MobileL3V2 also has a hardware 24-bit audio DSP function for AAC, MP3, or other compression systems and a gamma-correction function with histogram-extension type, screen-brightness correspondence type, and adaptive-type chroma correction.
