Programmable logic products are widely used semiconductor components that can be configured by end customers as specific logic circuits, and thus enable shorter design cycle times and reduced development costs. Our end customers are primarily original equipment manufacturers in the communications, computing, consumer, industrial, automotive, medical and military end markets.

We report based on a 52 or 53-week year ending on the Saturday closest to December 31. For ease of presentation, we have adopted the convention of using March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 as period end dates for all financial statement information. Our fiscal 2006, 2005 and 2004 were 52-week years. Our 2003 fiscal year was a 53-week year.
