- ICSI was incorporated in 1990 in the Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park, with design, manufacture, and sales of a wide range of high performance CMOS ICs as its core businesses. Its main products include SRAM, DRAM, Non-Volatile Memories (NVM), Microcontrollers and System on Chip (SOC) devices. These products are used mainly in personal computers, peripherals, industrial controls and communications devices. ICSI recorded sales revenues of US$175 million in 2000, and with its 400 employees, achieved a remarkable US$428,000 of revenue per employee.
- Since 1999, ICSI has been ranked the No.1 Memory Design House and the No.4 IC Design House in Taiwan. In 1999, ICSI was one of the market leaders with its range of low-power, high-speed asynchronous SRAM, high-speed synchronous DRAM, EDO/FPM DRAM, 8-bit MCU and its proprietary SOC. ICSI will maintain its market leadership position in 2001 with the design and development of new generation low-power and high-speed SRAM, high-density high-speed synchronous DRAM and SOC.
- In January 1999, ICSI was spun off from its US based parent company ISSI and became an independent entity as an IC design company. Besides its Hsinchu headquarters, ICSI has sales and marketing offices located in Taipei, subsidiaries in Japan and Hong Kong, and branch offices in Korea and Mainland China. ICSI is poised to penetrate markets in Asia-Pacific, Mainland China, The United States and the European Communities by offering efficient and reliable service to its worldwide customers.
- ICSI, with its comprehensive range of DRAM, SRAM, Logic ICs, SOC and ASIC products, and its leading-edge R&D team with extensive experience, has what it takes to design and integrate solutions for customers with varying IC design needs.
