Vishay Introduces Micro-Measurement Hybrid Sensor Series

Vishay Intertechnology introduces the new Vishay micro-measurement hybrid sensor series for gravity, pressure and acceleration measurements. The compact sensor consists of a metal, polymer or composite substrate and a flat foil stress sheet attached to it.

These sensors can be fixed by mounting holes or by spot welding or pressure welding, without the need for the end user to fix them with adhesive.

This hybrid sensor has a simple structure and stable performance, which can greatly improve productivity. Vishay Intertechnology also supplies hybrid sensors with leads and connectors. The processing requirements of the client are further simplified because no welding operations are required. The miniature signal amplifier used can be used as a discrete component or attached to a sensor.

Vishay hybrid sensors are suitable for many products and systems in industrial applications such as elevators, level monitoring, bearing immersion, safety systems, gasoline and liquid vapour pressure and load monitoring.
