The XE232NET serial-to-Ethernet module connects to any microcontroller serial port and delivers a 10Base-T Ethernet connection.
The card’s control and configuration setup uses AT commands like those on modem modules. The card is available with or without an isolation transformer, and includes the 10Base-T MAC and PHY.
