Designed for a variety of applications from electron guns to ion beams, the FIL-5V-3A precision filament supply operates in either constant-current (CC) or constant-voltage (CV) regulated mode with automatic crossover. The center-tapped nonisolated device is rated for 0 to 5 Vdc at 0 to 3 A with an output regulation of less than 0.5% no load to full load in CV mode and less than 0.05% in CC mode, short circuit to full load.

Units are available with several options, including wraparound shielding, an eared mounting plate, finned heat sinks, an RF-tight aluminum case, and an R6 option for full RoHS compliance.
