Intended for use in industrial and enterprise applications that demand high performance under 24x7 operation, the drives have an advanced rotational vibration compensation technology that anticipates vibration disturbances, and counteracts them to maximize performance.

Said to have an industry best 0.6 W idle and 0.13 W standby/sleep power consumption, the drives also feature a 1.5 Gbit/s SATA interface, read/write seek time of 12/14 msec typ, track-to-track seek time of 1.5 ms typ, and acoustic noise at idle of 2.4 bels typ.
