The M25PX32 32-Mbit serial flash memory is the first sector, subsector erase-type device to be offered with dual I/O. The chip¡¯s execute-in-place (XiP) features are useful in digital flat-panel displays, and high-speed downloading aids set-top box designs.

The device guarantees support of a 75-MHz clock through the 2.7 to 3.6-V supply range over -40¡ã to 85¡ãC. The 5 x 6-mm chip features an additional 64-byte user-lockable one-time-programmable area and the possibility to set the memory as read-only.
