For use in the AQ2200 rack-mount Multiple Application Test System for optical devices, the AQ2200-215 optical sensor, AQ2200-412 optical switch, and the AQ2200-641 XFP test interface modules expand functional performance, lower test cost, and improve test efficiency.

The sensor module can measure to 30 dBm at 10 ksamples/s for WDM transmission equipment power measurement and margin testing as well as optical-fiber amplifier output power and gain testing. For testing multiple DUTs, the 1x16 switch module offers low insertion loss and excellent reproducibility. For XFP transceiver testing, the interface module provides full signal control and transceiver access--with independent data in and out, bar-data in and out, and reference clock in--eliminating the need for an evaluation board.
