The V850ES/Hx3 and V850ES/Jx3 32-bit MCUs execute up to 69 DMIPS at clock speeds of 32 MHz and are well suited for next-generation access control products, point-of-sale systems, industrial controllers, and HVAC systems. The Jx3 devices integrate up to one Mbyte of single-voltage flash, while the Hx3 MCUs offer 128 to 512 Kbytes.

Available in 144- and 100-pin low-profile quad flatpack packages, the Jx3 versions include 16-bit timers, serial interfaces, a 16-channel 10-bit A/D converter, a two-channel D/A converter, a four-channel DMA controller. The 64-, 80-, 100-, and 144-pin LQFP-packaged 5-V Hx3 versions includes up to 24 channels of 10-bit A/D conversion.
