The DS26900 JTAG signal multiplexer has three master ports and secondary port autodetection. It provides transparent communication between an arbitrated master and one of up to 18 secondary ports. The device¡¯s autodetection allows the master port to detect the presence of JTAG-provisioned devices, boards, or modules on any secondary port.

The chip targets MicroTCA applications, AdvancedMC carrier blades, system-level diagnostics, test equipment, board-level JTAG, and ATCA applications and features two 32-bit scratch-pad registers, internal pull-up/-down resistors, and operation up to 50 MHz. It is available in a 20 x 20-mm LQFP144 package and is specified over 40¡ã to 85¡ãC.
