Suited for GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS applications, the MAX2659 LNA achieves 20.5-dB gain and a noise figure of 0.8 dB while maximizing the input-referred 1-dB compression point and third-order intercept point at -12 and -2-dBm, respectively. The part operates from a 1.6 to 3.3-V single supply and consumes only 4 mA.
To further maximize battery life, it reduces the supply current to less than 1 μA in shutdown mode. Available in a 6-pin microDFN package, the MAX2659 is fully specified over the -40 to 85C temperature range.
