The M53281KIT voice-over-IP reference platform is available as an evaluation and development kit, a ready-to-use module, or a MCU/software combination for integration into a product. The reference design demonstrates the 32-bit MCF53281 and MCF53721 ColdFire MCUs.
Incorporating management and media middleware from Arcturus, the platform features media signaling that is interoperability certified, Web UI, SSL-based remote management, and simple APIs for application integration. Voice-processing software from Encore Software supports codecs such as G.711, G729ab, G723, and G.726.
