The NMK series isolated 2-W single output dc/dc converters provide a small footprint, pin compatible, standard SIP package that allows for drop-in replacement. Comprising eight models, the NMK series offers 5- and 12-V inputs and output voltages of 5, 9, 12 or 15 V. Efficiency is 89% typ, output voltage setpoint accuracy is 7%, and maximum load regulation performance is 2.5% (for a 15-V output).

The converters offer 3 kVdc isolation for 1 minute and power density up to 1.33 W/cm3, and are able to maintain full 2-W load performance across a range of -40C to 85C without any external heatsinking. The fully encapsulated UL 94V-0 package has an internal construction that requires no external components, simplifying integration into existing designs. ($9 ea/1,000 -- available now.)
