Supporting 2 WLEDs at up to 750 mA each or 1 WLED at up to 1.5 A, AnalogicTech¡¯s AAT1271 and AAT1272 SSLDs are suitable for single-cell Lithium-ion battery powered mobile systems. The 3 mm² 14-pin TDFN-packaged components have a single-wire AS²Cwire and I²C interface, respectively, an input voltage range from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and switching frequency of 2 MHz. The WLED flash drivers exhibit up to 85% efficiency with 1µH inductors, separate flash enable and movie-mode with 15 current levels and a 7.3:1 flash-to-movie-mode current ratio. The devices include an input current limit capability and true load disconnect switch that reduces supply current in shutdown to <1 µA, as well as a flash safety timer that is user-programmable across 16 levels.
